Vision, Mission, and Goals of the Arabic Literature Program UNS

To become an advanced, excellent, and internationally trusted study program in Arabic literature, Arabic linguistics, Arab culture, and Arabic translation, rooted in national culture, especially the noble values of Javanese heritage, by 2030.

  • To provide education and teaching in Arabic literature, Arabic linguistics, Arab culture, and Arabic translation within a healthy, dynamic academic environment that integrates curricular and extracurricular activities. This approach leverages information technology resources, grounded in national culture, particularly the noble values of Javanese heritage, and utilizes adequate information resources to meet contemporary needs.
  • To conduct research focused on developing knowledge, skills, and expertise in Arabic literature, Arabic linguistics, Arab culture, and Arabic translation.
  • To organize community service activities aimed at empowering communities based on Arabic knowledge and culture, with international recognition.
  • To produce graduates skilled in using Arabic for various purposes related to the humanities, such as language, religion, art, philosophy, culture, and practical communication needs.
  • To foster an academic atmosphere and encourage a passion for learning among instructors and students in studying Arabic linguistics, literature, and culture.
  • To produce graduates who are professional, ethical, and well-versed in foundational theories, capable of advancing the knowledge they have acquired, both theoretically and practically, through research, reasoning, and community service in academic forums and in the field.
  • To become a trusted institution recognized by the community as a center for learning, research, and community service, bridging educational interests between Indonesia and Middle Eastern countries.
